Here comes the year-end holidays!!

Hello every Tanglininan
The year-end holidays are here.....woots :) Yesterday went by too quickly right from the morning assembly. We started off with the House Champion -- hip, hip , hooray to CYPRESS House! Then, there were citations from the Form-Teachers for the Students of the Semester Awards from each level.

The Discipline Master's announcement that there will be TSS school socks with effect from January next year, was greeted with a collective moan.....lol:)

After that back to the classes for some spring cleaning, again! While the students were kept busy tidying up their teachers' homerooms for the last time for this year, WE as teachers, were also busy, finalising the tokens and little gifts we have bought for the 10 individual class awards.

I'm sure your respective Form-Teachers from 3E1- 3E4 & 3N1-3N2, were doing likewise. I had fun selecting, buying and tagging the cute notebooks I've got for my form class 2N1. We made certificates for them too -- from those who got the 3 top class positions to the Bilingual & Most-Improved Awardees. The 5 school values PHIRR - and you better know what these acronym stands for - were not left out!

Then it was time to wait for the class party to start - the Californian pizzas took a bit longer to arrive but we already had the black, forest bdae cake, the curry puffs & mummy's special from our friendly stall no. 8 to feed hungry mouths!! We had fun:)

In the midst of all these mini celebrations, I met and talked to some parents on their respective child's academic performance & what to look out for in 2012. Whew, the class party ended at noon but I stayed on, with a few students for company, until the last parent came at 4.30 pm. Until then, I was literally on my toes throughout the day.  Am I glad to call it a day -- the official last day of school this year !!

But for u peeps, the Sec 3 classes have one more week of extended lessons -- so that you are prepared for a more crucial year ahead.

Hey peeps, let's start the countdown and enjoy your super long year-end holidays -- 8 weeks no less!

Ur effervescent teacher
